The City Attorney shall attend all meetings of the City Council; provide legal advice to the Council and to the City Manager and city department heads, approve as to form all contracts, deeds, bonds, ordinances, resolutions and other documents to be signed in the name of, or made by or with, the city; prosecute suits for delinquent taxes and assessments and all cases originating in and on appeal from City Court; and perform all other duties prescribed for him or her by the charter.
