§ 1-402 DUTIES AND AUTHORITY.
   It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to attend all meetings of the City Council and to keep and preserve a full and accurate record of same in a permanent book form; have custody of and be responsible for preserving all public records, the city seal, ordinances, rolls and books, minutes of the City Council, bonds, contracts, deeds and all other records, papers and documents not required by the charter to be kept elsewhere, and shall register them by number, dates and contents and keep an accurate and modern index of the same; provide officers and the public with records pursuant to the charter; print and distribute copies of ordinances; and perform all other administrative duties assigned by the charter and the City Manager.
