Section 1. Jurisdiction of city court. 
Be it further enacted, that there be, and hereby is, established and constituted for said City of Crossville a city court which shall be presided over by the city judge, with exclusive jurisdiction to try all offenses for the violation of the city ordinances and by laws; and said court shall have all of the power and exercise all of the functions of, and concurrent jurisdiction with, Justices of the Peace within the corporate limits of the city with respect to cases or actions involving violations of the state criminal laws, but not otherwise.
