The city may conduct any inspection or audit it deems necessary to administer and enforce this chapter or any other city Codes, ordinances, or regulations, or to enforce the conditions of any permit granted, or to enforce related regulations or policies. The city may order a work stoppage or revoke a permit, as it deems necessary in the case of a failure to comply with the provisions of this chapter or the conditions of any permit, or to otherwise protect the public health, safety, and welfare.
