§ 15-608 UNLAWFUL PARKING IN PARKING METER SPACES.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of any vehicle to park or allow his or her vehicle to be parked in a parking space regulated by a parking meter for more than the maximum period of time which can be purchased at one time. Insertion of additional coin or coins in the meter to purchase additional time is unlawful.
   (B)   No owner or operator of any vehicle shall park or allow his or her vehicle to be parked in a space when the parking meter therefor indicates no parking time allowed, whether the indication is the result of a failure to deposit a coin or to operate the lever or other actuating device on the meter, or the result of the automatic operation of the meter following the expiration of the lawful parking time subsequent to depositing a coin therein at the time the vehicle was parked.
   (C)   While engaged in loading or unloading merchandise where space is not available at rear of buildings, trucks may without charge use the parking space not exceeding 15 minutes.
