The City Arborist or Tree Board shall compile a list of plants considered less desirable within the area of the city government. Once the list of less desirable plants is duly adopted by the Tree Board, the plants included therein may not be used to satisfy the requirements of the sections above, except as specifically permitted therein. Use of the trees in excess of the requirements of the sections listed above is prohibited. All species of trees to be planted on city property must be approved prior to planting by the City Tree Board.
