Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter, or filing or causing to be filed, an application for a permit or certificate under this chapter containing false or fraudulent misstatements, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished under the general penalty provisions of this code of ordinances.
