§ 7-305 TENURE AND COMPENSATION OF MEMBERS.
   (A)   (1)   The Chief shall hold office so long as his or her conduct and efficiency are satisfactory to the City Manager. However, so that adequate discipline may be maintained, the Chief shall have the authority to suspend any other member of the Fire Bureau when he or she deems the action to be necessary for the good of the Bureau.
      (2)   The Chief may be suspended or dismissed only by the City Manager.
   (B)   All personnel of the Fire Bureau shall receive compensation for their services as the City Council may from time to time prescribe.
