§ 40.300 DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS
   (A)   The city shall place signs which deal with motor vehicle parking in the city limits.
   (B)   The signs will designate parking areas in the city and shall further designate no parking areas within the city limits.
   (C)   When the above signs are posted, it shall be a violation of this section to park a motor vehicle in non-designated areas. A parking citation shall be issued to all violators pursuant to the provisions of § 40.999.
      (1)   Any person who violates the provisions of § 40.300 shall be deemed guilty of a violation and shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than ten dollars ($10.00). Each day the violation occurs constitutes a separate offense.
      (2)   Should a motor vehicle be in violation of § 40.300 for three (3) successive days, the motor vehicle, may be towed away from the area of violation. The owner of the motor vehicle shall be responsible for all towing and storage expenses.
