§ 125.16 INVESTIGATION OF PREMISES AND APPLICANT; ISSUANCE.
   The Mayor, upon the receipt of an application for a license pursuant to this chapter from the Village Clerk’s office, shall cause the Village Building Inspector, the Police Department and the Fire Department to make a thorough investigation of the premises proposed to be licensed, and if satisfied that the required standards of § 125.03 of this chapter are met, and that the applicant is otherwise qualified, the Mayor, pursuant to a favorable written report of findings from the above, shall issue a license to the applicant for a period of one year to conduct such a home of the class designated at the location specified. The license shall state the maximum number of residents that may be accommodated at any one time. The Mayor or his or her designated village employee or inspector shall advise the applicant of the necessity of obtaining a license from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
