§ 123.05 EXTERIOR DISPLAY FOR SEXUALLY ORIENTED BUSINESSES.
   All new sexually oriented businesses shall comply with the following requirements.
   (A)   The amount of allowable sign area shall be one square foot of sign area per foot of lot frontage on a street.
   (B)   No merchandise or pictures of the products or entertainment on the premises shall be displayed in window areas or any area where they can be viewed from the sidewalk in front of the building. The foregoing shall not prohibit:
      (1)   The viewable display of any books, magazines, periodicals, printed material, photographs, films, motion pictures, video cassettes, slides or other visual representations that are not characterized by the depiction or description of specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas; and
      (2)   The viewable display of any instruments, devices or paraphernalia that are not designed for use or marketed primarily for stimulation of human genital organs, or for sadomasochistic use or abuse of themselves or others.
   (C)   Window areas shall not be covered or made opaque in any way. No sign shall be placed in any window. A one square foot sign may be placed on the door to state hours of operation and admittance to adults only.
