§ 93.31 LICENSE TAG AND COLLAR.
   (A)   The Village Clerk shall annually provide the number of metal tags as may be necessary. The shape of the tag shall change each year, and each tag shall be stamped with the year for which the license fee is paid, and also the number of the tag. It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to deliver one such metal tag, numbered to correspond with the number of the registry of the dog or cat, to the person who paid the license fee for the dog or cat.
   (B)   No dog or cat kept within the village shall be allowed or permitted outside the owner's or keeper's residence without a good and substantial collar with a current village license tag for the dog or cat securely affixed thereto.
