§ 93.03 NOTICE TO TRIM OR REMOVE; AUTHORITY OF BOROUGH.
   (A)   The Borough Council is hereby authorized to notify the owner of any property upon which any tree shall be growing to trim such tree in accordance with the provisions of § 93.01, and upon failure of such owner to do so after ten days’ notice, the Council may cause the same to be done at the expense of such defaulting property owner and the cost of such trimming, with an additional amount of 10% thereof, shall, be collected from such property owner in the manner provided by law.
   (B)   The Borough Council is also hereby authorized to notify the owner of any property upon which any tree shall have become a public nuisance as provided in § 93.02, to remove such tree within five days notice thereof, and upon failure of such owner to do so, the Council may cause the same to be done at the expense of such defaulting property owner and the cost of such removal, with an additional amount of 10% thereof, shall be collected from such property owner in the manner provided by law.

§ 93.99 PENALTY.
   Any person who shall violate any provision of §§ 93.01 through 93.03 shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $600 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of §§ 93.01 through 93.03 continues shall constitute a separate offense.
