(A) Duties of the Planning Director.
(1) It shall be the duty of the Planning Director to enforce the provisions of this chapter in the manner and form and with the powers provided by this chapter, as now or hereafter amended, and as provided under the laws of the state.
(2) It shall be the duty of the Planning Director to enforce these regulations and to bring any violations or lack of compliance to the attention of the Commission Attorney.
(B) Issuance of an improvement location permit or building permit. No improvement location permit or building permit required under the Zoning Ordinance in Chapter 153 shall be issued for the improvement or construction of any building or structure located on a lot or plat subdivided or sold in violation of the provisions of these regulations.
(C) Authorization to proceed. No public board, agency, commission, official or other authority of the city shall proceed with the construction of, or authorize the construction of, any of the public improvements required by these regulations until the proposed subdivision has been approved by the Commission or Plat Committee in accordance with these regulations.
(D) Duties of legal counsel. In addition to taking whatever criminal action deemed necessary, legal counsel shall take steps to civilly enjoin any violation of these regulations.
