§ 130.14 INTERFERENCE WITH FIRE HYDRANTS; DAMAGING HYDRANTS AND DRINKING FOUNTAINS.
   (A)   No person, other than a member of the Fire Department for the uses and purposes of the Department, or those especially authorized by the Council, or an officer of the city, for public purposes, or those authorized by the utility owning the waterworks in the city, shall open or attempt to open any fire hydrant, or in any manner interfere with or injure any fire hydrant in the city.
   (B)   No person shall break, injure or destroy any fire hydrant or public drinking fountain in any street, or pollute or unnecessarily waste the water at any such hydrant or drinking fountain, or break or injure any pipe or main supplying water to the city or its inhabitants.
