(A) Whenever any officer of the city’s Police Department believes any provision of §§ 119.001 through 119.004 of this chapter has been violated, he or she will issue a citation for violation thereof and the violator will be subject to the penalty set out in § 119.999 of this chapter for commercial quadricycle businesses.
(B) The city’s police shall, as soon as possible, but not less than 14 days after citing a business or driver for violation of §§ 119.001 through 119.004 of this chapter, notify the City Manager in writing of the violation. If the holder of the license to operate a commercial quadricycle business or his or her employees or agents are convicted of violating any provision of this subchapter, the City Manager may suspend this license, pursuant to the requirement of § 119.006 of this chapter.
(C) In addition, any license issued pursuant to this subchapter may be revoked or suspended by the City Manager after complying with the hearing requirements below, for the following causes:
(1) If the licensee makes any false material statements in an application for a license;
(2) Conviction of the licensee of any felony;
(3) Conviction of the licensee, or his or her agent who controls or operates the licensee’s premises, of any offense pertaining to prostitution, illegal gambling, knowingly possessing or receiving stolen property, sale or use of illegal drugs, or the illegal sale or use of controlled substances or prescription drugs;
(4) If the licensee is delinquent or in default of an obligation to pay a loan, fine, lien or other financial obligation to the city, then license is subject to suspension until the obligation is satisfied; or
(5) The existence of any delinquent or unpaid city taxes, assessments or other financial claims against or on any person, firm, partnership, corporation or premises, licensed for the operation of a commercial quadricycle business shall be cause for revocation or suspension of the license of the person, firm, partnership or corporation.
