The Director of Public Works, or his or her designee, is authorized to determine the location of passenger and freight curb loading zones and shall place and maintain appropriate signs indicating the same and stating the hours during which the provisions of this section are applicable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the designation of a curb loading zone that would result in the permanent removal of parking meters is subject to approval by the Parking Authority and the City Board of Commissioners in accordance with § 74.062(B).
