A. Except as hereinafter provided, no portion of an outdoor private residential swimming pool or appurtenant equipment (pumps, filters, etc.) shall be located at a distance less than ten feet (10') from the principal residence, any side or rear property line, or building line.
1. Exceptions:
a. Walkways.
b. Appurtenant equipment may be located in the principal residence building or in an accessory building.
B. Where both the principal residence and swimming pool are constructed upon a building site of ten thousand (10,000) square feet or less, no portion of an outdoor private residential swimming pool or appurtenant equipment shall be located less than five feet (5') from the principal residence, and not less than three feet (3') from any side or rear property line or building line.

b. Appurtenant equipment may be located in the principal residence building or in an accessory building.
C. Pools constructed on corner sites shall conform to the setback and side yard requirements in the zoning ordinance of the City; but in no event shall the pool or appurtenant equipment be closer than ten feet (10') from the street right- of-way line.
