8-2-1: DEFINITIONS:
   ABANDONED BUILDING: A. Any vacant building which is frequented by persons who are not lawful occupants of such structure; or
   B.   Any vacant building which, by reason of lack of maintenance or by reason of the boarding up of its doors and windows, or other reasons, has a substantial adverse effect on the value of property in the immediate neighborhood; or
   C.   A building, the principal use of which has been abandoned, and that no longer has any function or use.
   BUILDING: Includes, but is not limited to, shed, fence, garage or other manmade structure.
   DANGEROUS BUILDING: A. Any building which is dangerous to the public health or safety because of its construction or condition, or which may cause or aid in the spread of disease or cause injury to the occupants of it or of neighboring structures; or
   B.   Any building which, because of faulty construction, age, lack of proper repair or any other cause, is especially liable to fire and constitutes or creates a fire hazard; or
   C.   Any building, or parts thereof, which, by reason of faulty construction, age or lack of repair is likely to collapse or fall. (1970 Code §§9-5.01, 9-5.02, as amended; amd. Ord. 11-61-0, 10-12-2011)
