4-2-5-2: CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY:
   A.   No person shall knowingly:
      1.   Cut, injure, mark, damage, tamper with, destroy, steal, remove or deface any building, sewer, water pipe, hydrant, lamp, lantern, lamppost, pole, cable, electric line, tool, hose, pipe, conduit, road material, earth, stone, tree, grass, shrub, public walkway, public park, ordinance or other posted notice, street sign, or any other property, material, fixture or personal property owned or under the supervision or control of this Municipality or any department thereof.
      2.   Tear down, mutilate and deface, or render illegible any poster, notice or handbill lawfully posted upon any street, alley or other place in the City.
      3.   Injure, deface, destroy or remove real property or improvements thereto, or movable or personal property, belonging to the City.
      4.   Cut, injure, damage, tamper with or destroy or deface any fire hydrant or any fire hose or any fire engine, or other public or private firefighting equipment, or any apparatus appertaining to such equipment, or intentionally open any fire hydrant without proper authorization.
