4-2-5-1: CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PRIVATE PROPERTY:
   A.   No person shall:
      1.   Knowingly damage any property of another.
      2.   Recklessly by means of fire or explosive damage property of another.
      3.   Knowingly start a fire on the land of another.
      4.   Knowingly injure a domestic animal of another without his consent.
      5.   Knowingly deposit on the land or in the building of another any stink bomb or any offensive smelling compound and thereby intend to interfere with the use by another of the land or building.
   B.   It is an affirmative defense to a violation of subsection A1 or A3 of this section that the owner of the property or land damaged consented to such damage.
   C.   This section does not apply to any act that constitutes a felony as defined in section 21-1 of the Illinois Criminal Code. (Ord. 10-28-0, 5-26-2010)
