3-3-3: BILLIARDS, POOL TABLES AND BOWLING ALLEYS:
   A.   License Required: No person shall operate, maintain or conduct, within the city, a billiard table, pool table or a bowling alley, open to the public, without first having obtained a license as provided in chapter 1 of this title. (Ord. 95-19-0, 6-14-1995)
   B.   Fee: See section 3-1-13 of this title. (Ord. 00-38-0, 12-13-2000)
   C.   Maximum Number Of Billiard And Pool Tables Per Establishment: The maximum number of pool tables or billiard tables, or a combination thereof, in any single establishment within the following respective zoning districts shall be as follows:
      1.   B-1 retail business district: two (2) tables.
      2.   B-2 limited service business district: three (3) tables.
      3.   B-3 service and wholesale business district: four (4) tables.
      4.   M-1 limited manufacturing district: five (5) tables.
If the square footage of the licensed premises is greater than seven thousand (7,000) square feet, the maximum number of billiard and pool tables per licensed establishment in any business zoning district is four (4) and in the M-1 district five (5). (Ord. 97-10-0, 5-14-1997)
   D.   Location Restrictions: No such pool table, billiard table, or combination thereof, as described in subsection A of this section, shall be operated, maintained or used in any but the four (4) zoning districts set forth in subsection C of this section, and further, their use shall be restricted as appurtenant uses to duly licensed recreational businesses, community facilities, restaurants, and bowling alleys.
