Unless otherwise provided, any person or other entity to whom a license or permit has been issued under the provisions of this code shall forthwith place and keep such license or permit or other evidence of their issuance conspicuously posted in the office, place of business or location of permitted activity and further, shall conspicuously post such decals or other evidence of said license or permit as the city may provide, on each vehicle, machine or device for which an additional fee is required by the provisions of this code.
