A. All business license fees shall be paid to the City Clerk when applying for a new business license or at renewal. When an applicant has not engaged in business until after July 1 of the current year, the new license fee for said half year or fraction thereof shall be prorated so as to be one-half (1/2) of the annual fee.
B. If a license renewal is not purchased by January 1 the business license fee will be doubled. If any license is not renewed by January 31 a citation will be issued for a hearing before the city adjudications hearing officer. (Ord. 08-21-0, 4-23-2008; amd.
