A. Designated: All that portion of Michigan Street, Illinois Avenue and Dartmouth Street, traversed by the north and south highways, as now located, are hereby declared to be through streets, and all streets, roads and alleys intersecting or entering the same are hereby declared to be "stop streets", and all motor vehicles must be brought to a full stop before entering on any such through streets from any such stop streets. B. Violation; Penalty: A violation of this section is hereby declared to be an infraction, and any person convicted of a violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 90, 5-14-1935; amd. 2015 Code)
