Revocation must be proceeded by notice in writing from the city clerk-treasurer to the business owner, informing the licensee that the city council has ordered the holding of a public hearing at a certain date and time, not less than ten (10) days from the date of the notice, at which time, the licensee will be required to appear personally and show cause why the license should not be revoked. Should the council determine that such license shall be revoked, it shall pass a motion to that effect, and such license then shall be revoked. (Ord. 363, 6-6-2000)
