9-5-8-11: SANITATION AND SAFETY CONDITIONS:
   A.   Refuse Disposal: The storage, collection and disposal of solid waste in the park shall be so managed as to comply with provisions of the ordinances of the city for the control of solid waste. Where suitable collection service is not available from municipal or private agencies, the mobile home park operator shall provide this service.
   B.   Insect And Rodent Control:
      1.   Insect and rodent control measures to safeguard public health, as recommended by the building inspector, shall be applied in the mobile home park.
      2.   Effective larvicidal solutions may be recommended by the building inspector for fly or mosquito breeding areas which cannot be controlled by other, more permanent measures.
      3.   Accumulation of debris which may provide harborage for rodents shall not be permitted in the mobile home park.
      4.   When rats or other rodents are known to be in the mobile home park, the park operator shall take definite action, as directed by the building inspector, to exterminate them.
      5.   Suitable measures recommended by the building inspector shall be taken by the mobile home park operator to control other insects and noxious weeds.
   C.   Fuel:
      1.   Liquefied petroleum gas for cooking purposes shall not be used at individual mobile home spaces unless the containers are properly connected by copper or other suitable metallic tubing.
      2.   Liquefied petroleum gas cylinders shall be securely fastened in place and shall be adequately protected from the weather.
      3.   No cylinder containing liquefied petroleum gas shall be located in a mobile home nor within five feet (5') of a door thereof.
   D.   Fire Protection:
      1.   The park area shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the city fire prevention authority.
      2.   Mobile home park areas shall be kept free of litter, rubbish and other flammable materials.
      3.   Portable fire extinguishers of a type approved by the fire prevention authority shall be kept in service buildings and in all other locations named by such fire prevention authority, and shall be maintained in good operating condition.
      4.   Fires shall be made only in stoves, incinerators and other equipment and places intended for such purposes.
   E.   Pets: No owner or person in charge of a dog, cat or other pet animal shall permit it to run at large or to commit any nuisance within the limits of any mobile home park. (Ord. 236, 5-10-1983)
