9-5-8-2: LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   License Required; Fee And Renewal:
      1.   License Required:
         a.   It shall be unlawful for any person to construct, maintain, operate or alter any mobile home park within the limits of the city unless he holds a valid license issued by the building inspector in the name of such person for the specific mobile home park. All applications for such license shall be made to the building inspector, who shall issue a license upon compliance by the applicant with all of the provisions of this chapter and of any regulations adopted pursuant hereto. The decision of the building inspector pursuant to this section may be appealed as provided in subsection
         b.   An application for a license to operate an existing mobile home park shall be filed with the building inspector. Upon receipt of the application, the building inspector or his representative shall make an inspection of the mobile home park. A conditional license shall be issued if the examination of the park reveals any condition or facility which does not meet the standards provided in subsection
      2.   License Fee And Renewal: Each person, firm or corporation, before operating a mobile home park, shall pay to the city clerk-treasurer an annual business license fee as established by resolution of the city council, per year, for a mobile home park. The term of the business license is from January 1 through December 31 of the same year. If less than six (6) months of the business license period remains, the license fee is one-half (1/2) of the annual fee. The license must be renewed annually. (Ord. 236, 5-10-1983; amd. 2015 Code)
   B.   Suspension Of License; Hearing:
      1.   Whenever, upon inspection of any mobile home park, the building inspector finds that conditions or practices exist which are in violation of any provision of this chapter, or of any regulation adopted pursuant hereto, the building inspector shall give notice of such violation in writing to the person to whom the license was issued as provided in subsection
      2.   Any person whose license has been suspended, or who has received notice from the building inspector that his license will be suspended unless certain conditions or practices at the mobile home park are corrected, may request and shall be granted a hearing on the matter before the building inspector, under the procedure provided by subsection
