Any person obtaining the permit required by Section 917.01 shall replace and repair the removed portion of the street or alley for which the permit was issued, under the direction of the Director of Public Safety and Service. Upon failure of the person to replace and repair the streets or alleys in accordance with the direction of the Director, the Public Works Department will reconstruct to the requirements per ordinance and the contractor/owner will be charged accordingly in addition to penalty charges.
