§ 92.23 INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF OUTDOOR FURNACES.
   All outdoor furnaces shall comply with the following requirements.
   (A)   All outdoor furnaces shall be installed, operated and maintained in strict accordance with the requirements of this subchapter and all other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
   (B)   All outdoor furnaces shall comply with one of the two following requirements:
      (1)   It shall have installed thereon an exhaust pipe of a height that exceeds the height of the peak of the roof of the structure being heated by the furnace; or
      (2)   It may have an exhaust pipe shorter than the peak of the roof of the structure being heated if the furnace itself is located no closer than 200 feet from nearest property line of any contiguous lots.
   (C)   All exhaust pipes shall be free of leaks and must be properly maintained and cleaned to prevent any disruption in the proper discharge of smoke and exhaust fumes.
   (D)   No outdoor furnace shall be installed or operated in a manner that causes a health or safety risk to the public.
