It is hereby adopted for the purpose of existing buildings undergoing repair, alterations or additions and change of occupancy within the city or within the extra-territorial jurisdiction thereof, a certain existing building code, known as the International Existing Building Code, 2018 Edition, one copy of said book had been and is now filed in the office of the City Clerk and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference herein and made a part hereof as if fully set forth and laid before these pages herein, from the date on which this section shall take effect.
