§ 840.04  OTHER DEVICES; PERMIT REQUIRED; EXCEPTION.
   No person operating a business or a firm, partnership, corporation, club, society, fraternal organization, lodge or association located in the municipality shall have on display for the amusement of customers, members or guests, in the various aforementioned premises, any bowling game, skee-ball, shuffle board, bumper pool or other mechanical or electronic device, or any similar or related device, coin-actuated or otherwise, that requires the direct and actual physical control of the player in order for the player to achieve a score, for which such player is striving, unless such person, firm, partnership, corporation, club, society, fraternal organization, lodge or association has obtained from the municipality a permit to display such bowling game, skee-ball, shuffle board, bumper pool or other mechanical or electronic device, or any other similar or related device, coin-actuated or otherwise, with the exception that this chapter does not apply to private homes in this municipality.
