§ 1486.01 MEANS OF EGRESS FOR DWELLING STRUCTURES.

Every dwelling structure shall have a safe, unobstructed means of egress to a safe and open outdoor space at ground level. At least one window or other exterior opening in each habitable room shall be so arranged as to permit its use as a means of escape in any emergency.
