5-4-2: DRAWING OR THREATENING TO USE A DEADLY WEAPON 1 :
It shall be unlawful for any person to draw or to threaten to use upon any other person any pistol, dirk, knife, slingshot, or any other deadly or dangerous weapon; provided, that the provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any person drawing or threatening to use such deadly or dangerous weapon in defense of his person or property.
