5-1-6: IMPERSONATION:

It shall be unlawful for any person to falsely represent himself to be the chief of police or any member of the police department by wearing a shield of office or otherwise. It shall be unlawful for any person without first being authorized to do so, to exercise or attempt any duty, power or function of the chief of police or any member of the police department.
