§ 70.02 TRUCKS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   The operation of a motor vehicle having more than two axles or a gross licensed weight exceeding 16,000 pounds is prohibited on the following described portions of certain public streets:
      (1)   Stadium Drive from its intersection with U.S. Highway 158 to its intersection with Brookland Drive;
      (2)   Ridgecrest Road from its intersection with Kinnamon Road to its intersection with Stadium Drive;
      (3)   Bingham Avenue from its intersection with Stadium Drive to its terminus;
      (4)   Stoney Drive from its intersection with James Street to its terminus; and
      (5)   James Street from its intersection with U.S. Highway 158 to its intersection with Cook Avenue.
   (B)   All publicly owned or operated vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances or other emergency vehicles, garbage or recycling trucks or vehicles making a delivery directly to a property abutting the aforementioned streets shall be exempt from the operation of this section. A civil penalty of $100 shall be imposed for non-compliance.

§ 70.03 FLOW OF TRAFFIC ON CERTAIN STREETS ADJOINING CLEMMONS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
   (A)   When school is in session at Clemmons Elementary School, and during the hours from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., it shall be prohibited for the operator of a motor vehicle to make a left turn from Bingham Avenue onto Stadium Drive.
   (B)   The Director of Public Works is directed to and shall erect appropriate signage to give drivers notice of this section.
   (C)   Violation of this section shall be punishable upon conviction as an infraction with a minimum fine of $25 as provided in § 70.99.

§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   Any person who violates any provision of this traffic code for which no specific penalty is otherwise provided shall be guilty of an infraction punishable upon conviction by a fine not exceeding $50, as provided in G.S. § 14-4(b).
