The purpose of this chapter is to protect the residential character and nature of the diverse neighborhoods throughout the city. The City Council recognizes the importance of championing great neighborhoods. The City Council desires to protect residential areas within the city limits from the encroachment of commercial uses. The intent of adopting these garage sale regulations is to promote and protect the health, safety, comfort, economic investment, quiet enjoyment, and general welfare of the people residing within the city.
