§ 113.23 HEARING UPON APPLICATION.
   In the event of a denial of an application the applicant may request a hearing before the governing board of the town. At the hearing which may be conducted at a regular or special meeting of the governing board, the applicant shall appear and present the evidence as he or she deems pertinent to his or her application. Other interested residents of the town may appear and present evidence regarding the application and otherwise participate in the hearing through examination of the applicant. If the governing board finds the application to be in conformity with this subchapter the application shall be granted otherwise the decision of the Town Clerk-Treasurer shall be upheld.
