Notice of violations of this chapter sufficient to allow daily criminal penalties of § 100.99 to be invoked may be given by the Town Inspections Department, the Johnston County Sheriff's Department, the Johnston County Fire Marshal's Office or the Town Manager's Office. Such notice must be in writing to the owner or occupant of the dwelling or occupant of the dwelling or building and set forth what action is necessary in order for the offender to be in compliance.
