§ 91.148 COST AND TERMS OF LICENSING.
   The costs for licensing a chicken coop shall be as follows:
   (A)   Chicken coop: Ten dollars per chicken coop license/permit. The fee shall be paid at the time the application is submitted. A renewal fee of ten dollars shall be assessed for each chicken coop.
   (B)   Transferring a chicken coop license/permit: Ten dollars per transfer and the receiver must meet all requirements of this chapter.
   (C)   License/permit term: All licenses/permit issued pursuant to this section shall be valid for a term not to exceed 24 months.
   (D)   When due: Chicken coop license/permit renewals shall be submitted 30 days in advance of its expiration. A late fee of ten dollars shall be charged if the renewal is not timely received. Any renewal fee not received 30 days after expiration shall render the license/permit null and void.
   (E)   Nonrefundable: No refunds shall be made on any chicken coop license/application or application.
   (F)   Penalty: The owner of any chicken coop, which is subject to licensing/permitting and registration pursuant to §§ 91.146 through 91.148, but who does not comply with those provisions, shall be subject to the penalties provided in this chapter.
   (G)   Cost of administration: The license/permit fees charged pursuant to this section are charged to defray the administrative costs and are not to be deemed a penalty or tax. The license/permit fees shall not be construed as relieving the owner from any penalty imposed for any violation of this chapter.
