No person, or officer, agent or employee of any corporation or association shall stick, print, stamp, attach, hang or suspend upon any house, tree, fence, wall or automobile or upon any pole, for the purpose of carrying the same, or upon any utility or other pole belonging to a utility or other company, or upon any street or sidewalk, pavement or other public place, any printed, written, painted or other advertisement, bill, notice, sign or poster.
