373.08 RIDING ON SIDEWALK; USE OF HANDS AND FEET.
   (a)   No person shall ride a bicycle upon any sidewalk in the City or ride a bicycle, with the feet of the rider removed from the pedals, or with both hands removed from the handlebars.
   (b)   Notwithstanding the foregoing prohibition on riding a bicycle upon a sidewalk, a police officer riding a department-issued bicycle, including an electric bicycle, in the course carrying out the officer's duties may ride on any sidewalk in the City when reasonable or as authorized by policies issued by the Chief of Police.
