361.09 LOADING ZONES.
Spaces on the street that have been set out and officially marked as loading zones shall be used only by commercial vehicles for no longer than thirty (30) minutes in time for the expeditious unloading and delivery or pick-up and loading of materials or merchandise between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
For vehicles that are not readily identifiable as commercial vehicles by signs or markings on the vehicle indicating the commercial nature of that vehicle, a loading zone tag or decal shall be affixed to such vehicle before the vehicle may be parked in a loading zone. Such loading zone tag or decal must be obtained from the Finance Department upon completion of an application for a loading zone permit and a payment of sixty dollars ($60.00) per vehicle. Such loading zone permit is valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance, or until the tag or decal is no longer identifiable, whichever is sooner. Once invalid, the loading zone permit may be replaced as described hereinabove.
