The Board of Clarksburg Development Authority shall have and may exercise all of the powers set forth in Article 12 of Chapter 7 of the West Virginia Code as the same exists upon the adoption of this article or may be hereafter amended, enacted, reenacted, supplemented or changed. The following are hereby appointed as members of the initial Board of the Clarksburg Development Authority to serve for the terms designated:
To serve for a term of one (1) year:
To serve for a term of two (2) years:
To serve for a term of three (3) years:
Upon the expiration of the terms of the members of the initial Board, members shall serve for a term of three (3) years and may be appointed for such additional term or terms as the governing body of the City of Clarksburg may deem proper.
