There is hereby authorized and created the position of Director of General Services. Such Director shall serve under the Director of Finance to the extent such Director assists the Finance Director in his duties under the Charter. Such Director of General Services shall be under the ultimate supervision of the City Manager. His/her duties shall include, but may not be limited to, responsibility for City purchasing, central garage operation, City Hall maintenance and the parking building.
