There is hereby created within the Office of the City Manager the position of Grant Writer, who shall be appointed by, and serve at the will and pleasure of the City Manager. The individual who work under the direct supervision of the Director of Economic Development. The primary duties of the position involve researching, identifying funding opportunities (federal, state, private and other sources), preparing and submitting grant proposals for potential funding sources, and completing all necessary grant reporting and administration. Further, the individual will perform all duties and functions in accordance with Policy and Procedure set forth by the City of Clarksburg Personnel Manual.
