117.02 AUDIO RECORDS RETENTION POLICY.
   (a)   Definitions. The following terms shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates that a different meaning is intended:
   Audio Records: Includes all means of audio recordings, including, but not limited to, the use of cassette tapes, compact discs, and digital recording devices.
 
   (b)   Retention of Audio Records of Meetings of Council and the Boards and Commissions of the City.
      (1)   Audio recordings of Council, Board, and Commission meetings will be retained for a period of one (1) year after the recordings have been transcribed into minutes, and the approval of the minutes by the Council, Board or Commission.
      (2)   All audio recordings shall be properly destroyed after the one year retention period.
