The office of Plumbing Inspector is hereby established and the executive official in charge shall be known as the Plumbing Inspector, who shall be the Building Inspector of the City, during his or her term of office. He or she shall perform and carry out the duties of Plumbing Inspector in accordance with this chapter, including the Plumbing Code adopted in Section 1422.01, including the issuance of permits, inspections, issuance and service of notices and preparation of formal complaints against violators wherever and whenever necessary within the City.
