1420.09 PERMITS REQUIRED; VIOLATIONS; FEE.
   (a)   No person shall commence any construction work under this chapter, including the Building Code adopted in Section 1420.01, without first obtaining a permit therefor.
   (b)   No person shall refuse or neglect to obey an order of the Building Inspector to correct work or to remove a nuisance existing by reason of construction carried out in violation of any provision of this chapter, including the Building Code adopted in Section 1420.01. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day a nuisance continues to exist after the expiration of the time fixed by the Building Inspector for the removal and abatement thereof.

   (c)   The fee for the permit required by subsection (a) hereof is twenty-five dollars ($25.00), and such fee shall cover all building, plumbing and electrical work in the City on the particular project for which the building permit is issued. However, a building permit shall not be required for any new or used building placed upon premises of less than eighty square feet.
