(A) The Finance Officer will forward to the Budget Officer all required financial information as required or necessary for the preparation of the Village Budget. The Budget Officer is responsible for the preparation and presentation of the Village Budget annually according to the general guidelines prescribed both in the General Statutes and the policies of the Local Government Commission.
(B) The Mayor shall serve as the Village Budget Officer unless these duties are delegated by the prescribed procedures of this code.
